Description

The Powerscrub is a high production and cost efficient, mobile scrubbing system comprising of a trough with 2 shafts running counter to each other, with interchangeable blades which intensively mix the material and scrub it.

There are two different sized model's in the Powerscrub range, the SW50 and SW70, which are used extensively in washing plant applications. Each of these machines are available on static or mobile chassis. Maximum production on these machines is 80 T.P.H. and 120 T.P.H. respectively. It is not recommended to use these machines in applications with products above 75mm in size.

Advantages

  • High capacity 80-120 TPH. Two high output electrical motors driving a gear system providing efficient torque.
  • All interchangeable high tensile blades.
  • The material forms a bed in the hull, preventing wear in the steel trough.
  • The lower bearings are fresh water flushed to prevent wear or damage from small particles.
  • The machines are fitted with a spray bar at the forward end for rinsing the aggregate before it is discharged.
  • An optional agitation system is available allowing light particles to be washed out via water exit at central rear of trough.
  • The machine is fully guarded and fitted with a safety switch so that the removal of any guard isolates all power.
  • An optional walkway and steps can be fitted for ease of access and to view production.
  • 4 lifting points firmly attached to sides of hull for carriage when required.
  • Remote greasing to all bearings.

Hull
The hull is constructed from rolled plates to prevent build up of material in corners and to create natural drainage away from the work material. Set at a normal working angle of 9° this can be altered to suit the application.
Drive
The Powerscrub is normally powered by 2 electric motors, through reduction gears, driving an intermeshed cog system through 2 counter rotating shaft's providing enough torque to actively scrub the material.
Mobile Frame
Once on site the mobile Powerscrub can be set up to its 1-meter height and ready to run in less than 10 minutes. This chassis is fitted with single axle, air brakes and 5th wheel coupling for ease of transport.
Static Support Frame
Static frame has a standard height of 1 metre and a length to suit the machine. An optional walkway and steps may be fitted for ease of access.
Powerunit
The SW70 is available as an electric drive or diesel electric drive using its own genset. The SW50 is available only as an electric drive. The genset is a 6 cylinder Perkins 90 KVA or 129 HP - also driving a 5 HP electric / hydraulic powerpack to operate the jacking legs.
Chutes
The discharge chute is lined with removable wear plates. The inlet chute specially designed to be compatible with full range of Powerscreen discharge chutes.
Water Requirements
The Powerscrub is fitted with a 50mm (2") spray bar, delivering 37 GPM and can also be fitted with an optional 2" water agitation system.
